How do I start my free trial?
Choose the number of clients that you need, then choose either Pono Platform for the core training & nutrition coaching, or Pono + Performance if you need the additional HYROX and hybrid coaching features.
Your 14-day trial begins after checkout and you'll receive your invitation and setup information immediately.
What does “active clients” mean?
An active client is someone you are currently coaching — for example, they are logging workouts or nutrition, following your plans in the app, submitting check-ins, following an active program or messaging you.
Archived clients can still view previous data but do not count towards the client limit while they are inactive.
Which features are included?
Every plan includes the complete Pono coaching platform, unlimited coaches and staff, your website, iOS and Android client apps, hosting, storage, email delivery and future Pono updates. Pono + Performance additionally includes the complete HYROX and hybrid performance features.
Is Pono + Performance a separate app or platform?
No — Pono Performance works inside the same Pono platform. All of the coaching and business features are the same, just the Pono + Performance option includes the additional HYROX and hybrid performance tools.
If you are coaching HYROX and hybrid athletes and would like to access the tools such as race readiness, performance testing, movement analysis etc then you need the Pono + Performance system — if not, then you don't.
Do my clients pay anything to use Pono?
No. You pay your Pono subscription, your clients pay nothing extra to access your website and apps — they only pay you whatever you charge for your coaching services.
Can I take client payments through Pono?
Yes. Connect Stripe and accept payments directly through your Pono platform. Pono does not add transaction fees, so you only pay the normal Stripe charges.
PayPal and Authorize.Net are also supported.
Do I need an existing website or domain?
No. You can launch immediately on a ponoapp.com subdomain and connect your own domain later.
Pono can run your complete website (something like example.com). Or you can keep your existing frontend website and let Pono power only your client portal and members (something like portal.example.com, or members.example.com).
Is there any limit to the number of coaches and staff members?
No, every Pono plan includes unlimited coaches and staff and they do not count towards your client limit. Pono has supported many companies with over 100+ coaches and staff.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes. There are no long-term contracts so you can change client levels up or down as your business evolves, or just cancel before your next billing period. Annual billing gives you two months free.
What support is available?
Pono includes an extensive help system inside the admin, as well as support by email.
We also offer one-off video calls, onboarding help and assisted setup, as well as more intensive ongoing support.
Can I move from another coaching platform?
Absolutely! Please contact us about what you use now, and we'll help you find the safest and easiest way to bring your clients, content and workflows into Pono.
